No one was injured, but the suspect got away in a bank robbery Wednesday afternoon in east Vancouver.

Police officers were called to a report of a robbery at the Umpqua Bank branch at 1408 S.E. 164th Ave. around 3:10 p.m.

Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said a man entered the bank and presented a teller a note demanding money.

No weapon was seen or implied in the robbery, and the man left with the cash, she said.

Officers canvassed the area, and brought in a police dog, but the suspect was not located.
