Students, pen pals meet for first time

Burnt Bridge Creek — Right before school let out for the summer, Burnt Bridge Creek Elementary School fifth-graders got to meet their pen pals for the first time. Throughout the school year, students traded monthly, handwritten letters with members of Volunteer Connections, a program of the Human Services Council. The volunteers visited Burnt Bridge Creek for an end-of-the-year celebration.
