The Portland police were trying to locate a Washougal woman Thursday who went missing at Portland’s Lloyd Center Mall that morning.

The Portland Police Bureau said Gladys Marie Garrison, 83, became separated from her husband around 10:30 a.m. Thursday while at the mall.

The police said she has dementia and is not familiar with the neighborhood, but can identify herself and ask for help. She does not have a cellphone.

She’s described as being a 5 feet 2 inches tall white woman who weighs 150 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. When she went missing she was wearing a light-colored sweater and pants.

The police asked anyone who spots Garrison to call 911. Anyone with helpful nonemergency information can contact Detective Lori Fonken at 503-823-1081 or lori.fonken@portlandoregon.gov.
