Cascade Highlands — Shoppers at the Fisher’s Landing New Seasons Market, 2100 S.E. 164th Ave., Vancouver, will have the opportunity to enjoy art from local students for the rest of the month.

The winners of the 2017 Columbia Gorge Refuge Stewards Youth Photo Contest were recently named, and their photos will hang in the store through the end of June.

Billy Schuldt from Camas High School took home first place for his photo of a duck rising from water. Hayes Freedom High School student Gregory Lipkin came in second for his shot of a heron in flight.

Johanna Froehlich of Camas High School earned third place for her photo of a scene from Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge. And Hayden Rossignol and Ethan Nenadic, both of whom are home-schooled, earned honorable mentions.

There were 81 entries from 22 Clark County students, and all photos were taken at the Steigerwald Lake wildlife refuge. After June 30, the photos will move to the Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas.
