Vancouver – Kids can still chase rainbows all over Ireland. But the adult festival of brews and tunes the night before is no more.

St. Paddy’s for Kids, an annual event sponsored by the Parks Foundation of Clark County, has moved to a new home — Vancouver’s Luepke Community Center at 1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday , children can follow rainbows to numerous activity stations for games, arts and crafts, and much more before ending up at a prize-filled pot o’ gold.

Meanwhile, there will be performances by the An Daire Academy of Irish Dance, storytime with the Fort Vancouver Regional Library, learning time with the Clark Public Utilities Stream Team and wiggle-shaking with NW Personal Training. The event is free.

Previously, the festivities had included a $20-and-up fundraiser called St. Paddy’s for Parks, featuring beer, music and dancing. St. Paddy’s for Parks has been discontinued, according to Parks Foundation spokeswoman Jennifer Hawks-Conright.
