Brush Prairie — The Rocksolid Community Teen Center held its 16th annual Lucky Shamrock Auction on March 11 at the Battle Ground Community Center, and raised $115,000, a record total for the event.

This was the first time the event sold out, and three additional tables had to be added in the weeks leading up to the gala to make room for the 240 or so guests. The event featured performances by the Battle Ground High School Jazz Ensemble and local artist Amber Sweeney, who accompanied a teen from Rocksolid who was singing for the first time in public. A Russell Wilson autographed jersey was donated to the event and raffled off.

Rocksolid offers an after-school program for students in fifth through 12th grades in the Battle Ground and Hockinson school districts.
