Vancouver – Evergreen Public Schools announced Friday that it is launching a survey on the condition of its schools. The survey will give residents in the district a chance to comment on the condition of the buildings.

“We want to know how our citizens view the schools in their neighborhoods and answer any concerns they might have about them,” Deputy Superintendent John Steach said in a news release. Steach will take over for retiring Superintendent John Deeder next year.

The district last passed a capital bond in 2002, which allowed the district to build Columbia Valley and Endeavour Elementary schools and Union High School. The district also replaced Cascade and Covington middle Schools and Orchards Elementary, and conducted other remodeling and improvement projects.

The survey will be open until 5 p.m. April 5 and can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JY8Z7GM.
