A man’s body was found inside a ice machine outside a convenience store Sunday evening in Vancouver. The ice machine wasn’t working. Foul play is not suspected.

Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said Vancouver police and the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to a gas station in the 3500 block of East Fourth Plain Boulevard just before 8 p.m. Sunday.

An employee reportedly found the 66-year-old man’s body inside the ice machine on the side of the building.

The deceased was reported to be a frequent visitor to the area and apparently had a number of health issues.

The Medical Examiner’s Office hasn’t released the man’s name, pending notification of his next of kin. The autopsy also has yet to be completed.
