No one was hurt when a school bus struck a deer on state Highway 503 north of Battle Ground on Monday afternoon.

Battle Ground Public Schools spokeswoman Rita Sanders said there were four children on board the small bus, which was taking them home after school, when the bus hit the deer near Lewisville Park.

Parents were notified and another bus came to pick up the kids, she said.
