Letter: Smith has perspective

I am an English teacher who teaches with Wendy Smith at Heritage High School. Smith is an outstanding Evergreen Public Schools educator of 13 years, and loving mother of two young children in Vancouver Public Schools. She will bring the perspective of a classroom teacher and parent to the school board that will represent all of us. I support Smith for the Vancouver school board, and for all of the great work she is going to do for our children and families in the community.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
