Nominees for Week 4 prep football player of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Tuesday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian prep football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Sept. 23.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Tuesday, with results announced in Wednesday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

KYLE ALLEN, CAMAS: The quarterback passed for 242 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winner with 20 seconds left to beat Coeur d’Alene.

KADE COONS, WASHOUGAL: Coons rushed for 167 yards on 16 carries and two touchdowns, including the game-winner with 1:04 left to beat Mark Morris.

JACKSON LESLIE, LA CENTER: Leslie caught five passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Hoquiam.

JAYLYNEE MCGEE, SKYVIEW: The sophomore rushed for 162 yards on eight carries and two touchdowns in a win over Mountain View.

BROCK ROBINSON, BATTLE GROUND: Robinson rushed for 261 yards and three touchdowns in a narrow loss to Prairie.
