Old Evergreen Highway — Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Vancouver, Three Creeks Rotary Club and Vancouver Metro Sunset Rotary Club teamed up to plant 182 trees and shrubs at Columbia Springs on March 10 and March 17. Thirty-six volunteers from the three clubs provided 90 hours of service, planting cottonwood, cascara, river birch, red-flowering currant, mock orange, Douglas fir, red-osier dogwood and Pacific ninebark. Columbia Springs is a natural area in Vancouver with hiking trails. For more information, visit www.columbiasprings.org.
