Letter: Herrera Beutler doesn’t work for us

If you’re a fish, sea lion or tree, there’s a good chance legislation put forth by Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, will affect you. Otherwise, ask yourselves what she has accomplished to improve the lives of her constituents since being elected to Congress. Whether it’s infrastructure improvements, affordable health insurance or ensuring adequate funding to shore up vulnerabilities in our voting processes, she consistently votes “no” to legislation that would benefit her district. I hope her constituents and election opponents will review her voting record and see the self-evident truth that she’s done very little for people in Southwest Washington.
