Letter: Vote for Gasque, health care

“Medicare for all” is a bargain. A Republican-funded study showed that it would cost $32.6 trillion over the next decade. Hidden in the report is that our current health insurance at the 2016 rate would cost $34 trillion over the same decade. So we get to cover every single person in the country, virtually eliminate out-of-pocket health care expenses, and save money. No wonder a majority of Americans support single-payer health care. If you are one of them, vote for Dorothy Gasque for Congress in the primary. She is the only one who will vote for Medicare for all.
