The sheriff’s office is investigating after someone pushed a 16-year-old girl from the bridge at Moulton Falls on Tuesday.
Clark County Fire District 13 Chief Sean Ford said ambulance crews responded to the Moulton Falls Regional Park around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.
As often happens, he said, kids were horsing around and jumping off the bridge, and one was injured.
One person, he said, apparently flopped into the water, then was transported to a hospital for injuries he described as painful though relatively minor.
Jordan Holgerson’s mother, Genelle, told the Daily News that the 16-year-old suffered five cracked ribs and internal injuries after falling 60 feet from the bridge Tuesday. She also hurt her esophagus and trachea and got air trapped in the lining of her lungs.
