Alex Bishop made two free throws with seven seconds left to lift the Beavers to a non-league win.

Isaiah Flanagan made a block on Kalama’s last attempt to seal the win for Woodland (3-3).

Bishop scored a team-high 15 points on a night when Woodland overcame cold shooting. The Beavers were 2 for 19 on 3-pointers in the first half.

“I told them eventually something was going to happen,” Woodland coach Andrew Johnson said. “Good teams, when they play bad can still pull out a win. That’s what we did tonight.”
