Jasmine Shigeno set the school record for 3-pointers in a game with nine as the Hawks finished play at the Oregon Hoopfest in Bend, Ore., with a victory.

Shigeno scored a game-high 27 points. The previous Hockinson record for 3s by girls or boys was eight.

After trailing 26-15 at halftime, the Hawks settled things down and the points began to fall.

“We were rushing things in the first half,” Hockinson coach Damon Roche said. “Once we calmed down, we executed much better at both ends of the floor.”

Gracie Brammer added 11 points for the Hawks (5-4).
