1B girls basketball: Mount Vernon Christian 53, Columbia Adventist 30

Taylor Boatright scored seven points and Macey Pearson added six points and nine rebounds as Columbia Adventist fell in a loser-out game at the 1B state tournament in Spokane.

Mount Vernon Christian took a 22-15 halftime lead then pulled away in the third quarter.

Mariah Fernando added six points for the Kodiaks.
