David McDevitt plans two more town halls: David McDevitt, Democratic candidate for the 3rd Congressional District, has two more town halls scheduled in anticipation of the August primary.

McDevitt will host a town hall from 1:30 to 3 p.m. July 22 in La Center at the Grange Hall, 328 W. Fifth St.

He’s also hosting a town hall from 6:30 to 8 p.m. July 31 in Battle Ground at the library, 1207 S.E. Eighth Way.

League plans two more candidate forum events: The League of Women Voters of Clark County has two more evenings of candidate forums scheduled.

At 3 p.m. today, candidates for Clark County Council chair, Clark Public Utility District Position 1 and the 17th Legislative District Position 1 will square off at the Clark Regional Wastewater District, 8000 N.E. 52nd Court.

Starting at 6 p.m. Thursday, candidates for the Clark County Assessor’s Office, Clark County Council District 1 and Vancouver City Council Position 1 will meet at the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St.
