The Vancouver Police Department is trying to identify an elderly woman with memory problems found wandering in the area north of PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center Wednesday.

The department said the woman was found wandering around the 1200 block of Northeast 93rd Avenue. She told officers she believes her name is Connie Rae, and that might live with others in a home near a park, but she doesn’t know anything else about herself.

The woman is white, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. She has long brown and gray hair, and was wearing a blue and brown-colored, flower dress.

She was transported to a hospital for a medical evaluation. Anyone how might know who she is or where she lives was to contact the Vancouver police.
