Letter: Support Long for Congress

By Peter Harrison, Vancouver
Published: July 23, 2018, 6:00am

Prior to my father’s death earlier this year, I was running for Congress in Southwest Washington. I know and even like most of the candidates on our August primary ballot. Only one, however, has earned my vote.

With more than two decades of service in our community, Carolyn Long is my choice for Congress. She will work with others in Congress to fix heath care, get big money out of politics, address climate change, fix our transportation woes, protect our rights and our neighbors’ rights and create the positive change we so desperately need in Washington, D.C. Vote for Carolyn Long!

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
