Camas — The Downtown Camas Association is postponing its first Picnic in Color event, originally scheduled for Sunday, due to the upcoming forecast.
“The safety and health of everyone involved is most important to organizers, and with excessive-heat advisories from the National Weather Service for Sunday, it was important for this family event to use caution,” a release from the association said.
The Picnic in Color asked guests to wear bright colors and promised creative activities for all.
The event is expected to be rescheduled.
