What better way to celebrate the first full week of summer vacation than by attending an old-fashioned carnival? Kids celebrated summer Monday at the Chuck’s Produce location in east Vancouver with games, prizes, popcorn, snow cones and a pie-eating contest. At left, little feet look for the magic square to step on when the music stops during the cupcake walk. If your children missed out, Chuck’s Salmon Creek store will have a kids’ carnival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, July 9.
