The Camas Police Department is asking for help in locating a 17-year-old runaway.

Felicity A. Vandel is a foster child who was temporarily placed with a family in the community, according to a Camas police press release. Around midnight Jan. 27, Vandel ran away from her foster home.

The girl has been spotted in communities along Interstate 5.

Initially, Vandel was reportedly driven to downtown Vancouver and dropped off, police said.

An investigation also found Vandel had been staying with family in the area of Vader between Feb. 11 and Feb. 16. Police reported the family was unaware she’d run away from her foster home.

Then, she was dropped off by a family friend in Kelso, where she grew up and has various ties, family told police.

The police department said Vandel is 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 105 pounds. She was last known to have rainbow-colored hair and two piercings on her lower lip.

Anyone with information about Vandel’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Clark County non-emergency dispatch phone line at 360-693-3111.
