Clark College musicians honored at festival in Colorado

Central Park — Nine musicians from the Clark College Jazz Ensemble received Special Citation for Outstanding Musicianship awards at the University of Northern Colorado/Greeley Jazz Festival held April 19-22. The students honored were: Dennis Baciuc, Bryce Robertson, Keith Cheek, Lucas Hayes, Kassio Halsinger, Colin Hunt, Lissa McCarty, Chandler McCoy and Justin Davis. In addition to performing, the Clark College musicians had a chance to listen to performances, workshops and panel discussions from a variety of distinguished musicians, including the Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band, Randy Brecker, Antonio Hart, Bob Sheppard and Aaron Diehl.
