First Place — First Place Neighborhood Association awards scholarships to deserving students from Evergreen High School every year, and the neighbors recently handed out scholarships to two Evergreen graduating seniors.

The First Place Community Involvement Scholarship Committee decided to honor Tyler Jessey, who will attend Syracuse University in New York, and Clair Priebe, who will head to Brigham Young University in Utah.

Each student received a $1,000 scholarship. The students selected have been active in the community and involved in helping others.
