A developer has proposed adding 27 single-family homes near Northeast Newhouse Road, joining rows of homes also built within the last five years.

Kessi Consulting has drafted plans to subdivide a roughly 2-acre lot into a cluster of townhouses, according to a pre-application filed last week with the city of Vancouver.

The Vancouver firm detailed plans to build a new road south of Northeast Newhouse Road and a cul-de-sac called Ridgecrest Court. Kessi wrote it expects 260 daily trips to the road.

Around 50 homes were built in that same area in 2013 and 2014, per Clark County property records.

Diversified Northwest Associates is listed as the owner of the 2-acre property. It bought the land for $175,000 in February, according to property records.

City planners will meet with developers on June 7 to review the application. For more information, contact Andrew Reule at 360-487-7891 or andrew.reule@cityofvancouver.us.
