John L. Scott Real Estate is hosting a blood and donation drive at its offices in Vancouver.
Besides organizing a blood drive for Bloodworks Northwest, the real estate company is accepting donations of nonperishable food, new toys and items to help the homeless: backpacks, sleeping bags, flashlights, gloves, shoes, socks, coats and personal hygiene products.
Throughout the year, two of the company’s real estate brokers, Christi Manger and Amy Wells, make sandwiches to distribute to homeless people and frequent estates sales to find supplies, such as tents and tarps to give to people.
The drive is 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 29 at 204 S.E. Park Plaza Drive, Suite 111.
