Non-league football: Montesano 24, Columbia-White Salmon 12

Trenton Howard rushed for 136 yards and Alarick Blankenship had a 72-yard touchdown reception, but it wasn’t enough to rally the Bruins out of a 17-0 halftime deficit.

Howard’s 7-yard TD run in the third quarter got Columbia-White Salmon with 17-6, but the Bulldogs extended their lead to 24-6 by the end of the quarter.

Blankenship went 72 yards on a pass from Austin Charters in the fourth to complete the scoring.

Cesar Isordia had 15 tackles, and Oscar Kirkwood add 8 for the Bruins on defense.
