Letter: Fight climate change, support I-1631

Climate change is real. Imagine Mount Rainier without glaciers, our ports submerged, and our forests burning out of control. Just look across the river or at Nisqually Glacier. It will get worse without Initiative 1631.

I-1631 will require oil refineries and natural gas power plants to pay a fee based on the amount of pollution they generate, with the money earmarked for projects that reduce pollution.

Major oil companies have given big money to keep us heading down the road to worsening climate impacts. We have to do our best to stop this now.

Please join me in supporting I-1631.
