Non-league football: Washougal 29, W.F. West 14

WF West went 70 yards for a touchdown on their opening drive but the Washougal defense dominated the rest of the game, forcing six turnovers, including three interceptions.

Julien Jones led the Panther defense with two interceptions.

Dalton Payne’s 1-yard touchdown run gave the Panthers a 13-7 into the half. Washougal went ahead 20-7 early in the third quarter on a 75 yard bomb from Payne to Jakob Davis.

Payne finished the game with a career high 335 yards passing.
