2A district football: W.F. West 35, Hudson’s Bay 14

Gage Brumfield scored two touchdowns and passed for two others to lead W.F. West in a 2A district playoff win over Hudson’s Bay 35-14 in Chehalis.

The Bearcats held Bay to 83 yards of offense in the first half in building 21-0 lead on two touchdown runs by Brumfield and a 72-yard touchdown pass from Brumfield to Declan McDonald.

W.F. West was up 35-0 before Aqeel Bauman got Bay on the board with a 7-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Rafael Bauman added a 93-yard touchdown run for Bay in the fourth quarter.
