Battle Ground scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning and then got out of a bases-loaded jam in the bottom to hold off Camas 6-3 in a 4A Greater St. Helens baseball matchup Tuesday at Camas.

Down 3-2, the Tigers (5-5, 2-2 4A GSHL) tied the game on Brett Joner’s one-out single, and then took the lead on Tyson Lindemood’s hit.

A fielder’s choice brought home the third run, and bases-loaded walk scored the fourth run of the inning.

Camas (8-3, 3-1) loaded the bases on a single and two walks, but Battle Ground’s Sam Sutton struck out two batters and got the third out on an outfield fly.

The teams combined for nine errors resulting in just two earned runs. There were also 17 walks issued.
