Nominees for the Week 4 spring sports prep athlete of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Thursday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian spring sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending April 13.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

ASHLEY CLARK, CAMAS GIRLS GOLF: Clark won the Chieftain Invitational with an even-par 72 and placed second at the Pasco Invitational.

BROOKLYN JACKSON, UNION GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD: Jackson won the 400 meters at the Willamette Falls Invitational in the 4th-best time in the state at 4A this season.

MALLORY MEYER, BATTLE GROUND SOFTBALL: Meyer pitched eight scoreless innings, allowing four hits, no walks and striking out 11 in two wins for the Tigers.

ISAIAH PARKER, MOUNTAIN VIEW BASEBALL: Parker went 8 for 9 with five runs and four RBI in three wins for the Thunder.

LEVI WILLIAMS, COLUMBIA RIVER BOYS TRACK AND FIELD: Williams set a 2A state season-best mark in winning the pole vault at 14-0 at John Ingram Twilight meet.
