Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, is hosting two employment events in the 3rd Congressional District later this month.
“Everywhere I go, I talk to employers who are hiring; it’s a great time to be seeking a new or better-paying job in Southwest Washington,” Herrera Beutler said in a media release. “I’m looking forward to hosting another jobs fair and job-hunting workshop this year and expect more great connections will be made.”
The first event will be held 1:30 to 3 p.m. Aug. 21 at the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St. The job-hunting workshop will offer a panel of experts with advice for finding employment and writing a resume. Attendees do not need to RSVP.
The second event, the ninth annual Jobs Fair, will take place 1:30 to 3 p.m. Aug. 27 at WareHouse ’23, 100 Columbia St. No. 102, Vancouver. Employers interested in participating should contact Carson Coates at the congresswoman’s office at 360-695-6292.
