A small-business resource fair hosted by U.S. Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Skamania, is coming to Vancouver next week.

The event will be 1-4 p.m. March 29 at Cascade Park Community Library, 600 N.E. 136th Ave., Vancouver.

Current and prospective small-business owners will be able to meet with local organizations to learn about resources for starting and expanding a business, such as loan and financial assistance programs, opportunities for federal grants and contracts, and support for rural and women-, veteran- and minority-owned businesses, according to a news release.

Attendees will include Small Business Administration Portland District, the Washington Small Business Development Center and SCORE.

For those who cannot attend, Perez has a list of resources for small business owners on her website at gluesenkampperez.house.gov.
