Kyle Gruhler scored 17 points, including a pair of 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as the Storm pulled away to win its first game at the Cactus Jam tournament in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Travel delays caused the Storm to arrive in Scottsdale at 2 a.m. Friday. But it was worse for Service from Anchorage, Alaska, which arrived at 6 a.m. for Friday’s 12:30 p.m. Mountain time game.

“It was an ugly game, but we got the win,” Skyview coach Matt Gruhler said.

Squeaky Johnson hit three 3-pointers and added 11 for the Storm, who will play South Anchorage at 11 a.m. (Pacific time) game Saturday.
