Boys basketball: Black Hills 80, Hockinson 68

Peyton Brammer scored 26 points but the Hawks couldn’t keep up with the Evergreen Conference champs in the first round of the 2A district tournament on the road.

Brammer, who scored 50 in the regular-season finale, made four of Hockinson’s 12 3-pointers.

Micah Paulsen added 16 points for Hockinson (9-13), which will face Tumwater in a loser-out game Thursday.
