Carol Aaron, PeaceHealth’s chief administrative officer the past nine years, will retire at the end of the year, the Catholic health system announced Monday.
Aaron joined Vancouver-based PeaceHealth in 2010 and has worked 30 years in health care.
“She has been instrumental in (PeaceHealth’s) acceleration as an integrated system serving communities in Oregon, Washington and Alaska as well as the development of leadership and organizational strategies to advance clinical excellence and compassionate care to the communities PeaceHealth serves,” the nonprofit organization stated in a news release.
She will be replaced by Steve Glenn, PeaceHealth senior vice president for governance and support services. He will add the title of executive vice president in his new role, overseeing mission services, marketing and communications, facilities and construction, business transformation office, board governance and the shared services center.
