Longview — Kele James Bobst, 18, of Longview has been sentenced to three years and three months in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree assault.

Kelso police arrested him in September on allegations and he and another man fired pistols at two Kelso men at their residence after robbing the victims of Xanax pills. The shooting occurred during an alleged drug deal gone wrong.

Charges of first-degree assault and first-degree robbery were dropped, and the prosecutor offered Bobst the plea deal based on his lack of previous criminal history. He was sentenced in Cowlitz County Superior Court on Dec. 20.

His co-arrestee Dayshawn Namock has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to go on trial on Jan. 15.
