Nominees for Week 6 winter sports prep athlete of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, will continue through Thursday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian winter sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Jan. 19.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

RILEY AAMOLD, UNION GIRLS WRESTLING: Aamold captured the 130-pound division at the Viking Girls Invitational in Puyallup with pins in the semifinals and final.

SHEA MCGEE, CAMAS GYMNASTICS: McGee won the vault (9.6), bars (9.4) and all-around (37.50) at the Winterfest meet in Naydenov.

NOAH MESSMAN, MOUNTAIN VIEW BOYS WRESTLING: Messman won the 120-pound division at the Lumberjack Invitational in Longview recording two pins.

KAMERON OSBORN, PRAIRIE BOYS BASKETBALL: Osborn scored 22 and 32 points in a pair of league wins for the Falcons.

LACEY ZOOK, KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN GIRLS BASKETBALL: Zook had 16 points with seven rebounds and 17 points with three rebounds in a pair of Trico League wins.
