Some children in Vancouver will be treated to free Slurpees this summer courtesy of police officers.

The Vancouver Police Department is participating in 7-Eleven’s Operation Chill program, which began Thursday, according to a news release. The convenience store chain provided the department with Slurpee coupons, which will be handed to children throughout the summer. Children demonstrating positive behaviors, such as wearing bicycle helmets and participating in summer youth programs, are the most likely to receive the treats, the news release said.

This summer marks the fifth year the department has participated in the program.
