Letter: Need to condemn racism

By Chris Tobkin, Vancouver

Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler’s vote against condemning Trump’s racist tweets is the nail in the coffin for me. Her name belies her Hispanic heritage and she of all people should be fighting white supremacy. But no, she votes to support Trump and her party over the people of this country. Well, I refuse to support anyone who doesn’t have the spine to stand up to evil. I am sickened that she claims to represent me. Carolyn Long has my total support and my vote. I only wish we could kick Jaime to the curb right now.
