Vancouver’s annual State of the City address will be held 5 p.m. Thursday in the City Hall lobby, 415 W. Sixth St.

Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle will “review major accomplishments of 2018 and share plans for future projects and initiatives,” a media release states. “The evening will commence with the presentation of an original poem by Clark County Poet Laureate Gwendolyn Morgan.”

The event is free and open to the public. For questions about accessibility or accommodations, contact Tracie Looney at 360-487-8712 or tracie.looney@cityofvancouver.us.

The event will also be aired live on Clark/Vancouver Television, or CVTV, and on the city’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Members of the public can follow the speech on Twitter using the hashtag #VanSOC2019.
