Washougal man in court in chase, thefts

A Washougal man who allegedly led police on a chase after taking items from mailboxes and displaying a handgun at a woman made a first court appearance Monday.

Dennis John Yanzick, 30, appeared in Clark County Superior Court on suspicion of first-degree robbery, attempting to elude police, two counts of hit-and-run, possession of a stolen vehicle and three counts of second-degree possession of stolen property.
