It has been nearly four years since the Columbia River volleyball team reached the Class 3A state championship match.

But the volleyball careers of a few members of that team continue to go strong in college.

Evi Wilson had a season-high 19 kills in Montana State’s 3-1 win over Idaho State on Friday. Her 206 kills are a team-high for the Bobcats (9-8).

Wilson’s twin sister, Esti Wilson, is a key player for Chico State. She had a season-high 13 digs Oct. 12 in a four-set win over Cal State Monterey Bay.

Page Heller had a season-high 21 digs in Colorado State-Pueblo’s five-set win over Northwestern Oklahoma on Tuesday. The defensive specialist is averaging 2.54 digs per set.

Abigail Wilmington had six kills and two digs in Hawaii Pacific’s three-set win over Notre Dame de Namur on Saturday. The junior has played in all 20 matches this season for the Sharks (14-6).

Cross Country

Brooke Roy, a sophomore from Camas, ran a personal-best of 21:56 for 6,000 meters Saturday at the Bronco Invited in Sunnyvale, Calif. Roy’s time has only been beaten by two other Cal State Monterey Bay runners.

Men’s Golf

Spencer Tibbits, a sophomore from Fort Vancouver, tied for third at the Oregon State Inivitational, which concluded Tuesday. Tibbits shot 4-under (70-68-71) at Trysting Tree.

Brian Humphreys, a senior from Camas, shot a 1-over 72 in the final round to place 37th at the Oregon State Invitational.

Men’s Soccer

Josh Balsiger, a senior from Seton Catholic, scored two goals in Saint Mary’s (Minnesota) 7-0 win over Martin Luther on Wednesday. Balsiger has scored in three consecutive games and has 10 on the season for the Cardinal (7-8).

Women’s Soccer

Grace Eversaul, a junior from Skyview, scored a goal in Western Washington’s 2-1 win over Simon Fraser on Saturday as the Vikings improved to 7-0-0 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Ally Turkington, a freshman from Battle Ground, has started all 12 matches this season as a defender for The Evergreen State College. The Geoducks (5-7) have won three of their last five matches, allowing four goals over that span.

Taryn Ries, a junior from Ridgefield, scored her fourth goal of the season in Portland’s 1-1 draw against Santa Clara on Saturday.
