La Center, Kelso, Mountain View make top-10 debuts in AP state football rankings

La Center, Kelso and Mountain View made their top-10 debuts in the Associated Press statewide media high school football polls released Wednesday.

La Center entered the Class 1A top 10 at No. 9 after the Wildcats’ impressive win over Hoquiam.

Kelso and Mountain View are tied, along with Peninsula, at No. 10 in the 3A rankings.

Camas came in at No. 4 in Class 4A, and Union is No. 10, just edging Skyview for the final spot by a single point.

Hockinson is No. 3 at Class 2A.
