Clark County seeks members for clean water board

Clark County is accepting applications for three positions on the Clean Water Commission. Terms begin January 2024 and end December 2026.

Applicants must reside in Clark County and should have interest or experience in water quality, data and program analysis, education and outreach, or environmental advocacy. Professional experience in stormwater management is not required.

The county is looking for applicants from historically underserved or underrepresented populations including residents who can bring ethnic, cultural or geographic diversity to the commission. Candidates with knowledge, ability and experience working with a broad range of individuals and communities with diverse racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Interpretation, translated materials, ADA accommodations or assistance submitting the application or participating in meetings can be requested by emailing cleanwater@clark.wa.gov or calling 564-397-5267.

To apply, send a resume and letter of interest to cleanwater@clark.wa.gov. Applications can also be mailed to Clark County Public Works Clean Water Attn: Devan Rostorfer, PO Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98660-5000.

The applications deadline is 5 p.m., Nov. 2.
