Missing man found dead at bottom of Clackamas County ravine, deputies say

The body of a missing man was found Thursday at the bottom of a Clackamas County ravine, deputies say.

Authorities have not provided an identification. Efforts to retrieve the body were underway near Southeast Sunnybrook Boulevard and 97th Avenue on Thursday morning, according to the county sheriff’s office.

The intersection is near Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center and Interstate 205.

Eastbound Sunnybrook Boulevard was closed in the area about 9:30 a.m. amid a death investigation.

No information about the circumstances of how the man died was immediately released.
