CENTRAL PARK — Clark College Foundation received two merited honorable mention awards from The Public Relations Society of America’s Oregon chapter for its work on a podcast called “Beyond the Tragedy,” and a video, “Tracking COVID-19: Clark alumnus leads data source that’s powering the nation’s information.”

The foundation was honored during a Dec. 3 virtual ceremony. The podcast features a story about a Clark College alumna, state Rep. Gina Mosbrucker, who “is changing the plight of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls,” according to a news release.

The video features alumnus Alexis Madrigal, a journalist at The Atlantic, discuss how the pandemic was affecting Americans disproportionately.

Clark College Foundation is a self-governed nonprofit that assists Clark College through philanthropy.
